Katt Williams delivered his boldest commentary yet in Woke Foke, a Netflix special that streamed live in May 2023 as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. Known for his sharp observations, Williams tackled everything from “woke” culture and masculinity to the “Illuminati” and political figures, sparing no one. This special marks his twelfth stand-up and third collaboration with Netflix. Filmed at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, Woke Foke was directed by Troy Miller and produced by Dakota Pictures. Executive Producer William Lee provided business and creative support, helping bring Williams’ vision to life in this groundbreaking event.

Katt Williams returned to Netflix with World War III, his 12th comedy special, filmed at Dolby Live in Las Vegas. Directed and executive produced by Williams, this special explored the “war between truth and lies,” where he dissected conspiracy theories with his signature unfiltered humor. Known for his Emmy-winning wit, Williams tackled political and cultural tensions, blending sharp commentary with laugh-out-loud moments. World War III marked his second Netflix original, following 2018’s Great America. The special premiered on May 17, 2022. Oakland native Luenell shines in her first Netflix stand-up special, Town Business, which streamed live in September 2023 to critical acclaim. Executive produced by Dave Chappelle as part of his Home Team series, the special features Luenell’s bold take on air travel, from window shade etiquette to her role as the “unofficial air marshal.” Directed by Emmy and Grammy winner Stan Lathan and shot at Yoshi’s in Oakland, Town Business captures Luenell’s comedic genius. Associate producer William Lee collaborated with Chappelle and the production team, making this special a standout success for Netflix audiences worldwide.
